This was the only kind of shop that could legally be open during that time. Starting a business during a national lockdown is probably not something that one should do, but we went for it. Since then our business has grown tremendously thanks to incredible support of our customers. We are very proud of the chances we have taken to get to where we are now. It’s a crazy story, but it worked. We are still amazed at how a small coffee stand next to the road has grown into the business we are now.

As restrictions eased and life began to return to normal, we embarked on building our PADSTAL—a local hub where our coffee beans are roasted to perfection. Voted the best coffee in town two years running, our PADSTAL has evolved into more than just a stop on the road; it’s a destination in itself. Here, you’ll find not only our renowned coffee but also an array of gifts and merchandise that cater to every personality. Our self-help shop offers exceptional food on the go, making it a convenient and delightful pit stop.
Elvis Brew was born out of a heartfelt response during the lockdown, when we started with a single container delivering coffee to those tirelessly working through the pandemic at George Airport. It was our way of bringing a moment of comfort and connection in a challenging time.
This PADSTAL represents the heart of our beginnings and serves as the launchpad for our vision of expanding across South Africa.
